Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé dans lequel la surface supérieure de métal liquide dans la lingotière est recouverte d'une poudre de protection de composition appropriée. Le procédé est caractérisé en ce que l'on détermine un spectre considéré comme idéal de l'accélération de la lingotière, de la manière suivante : on observe l'aspect extérieur du métal sortant de la machine et on enregistre les mouvements réels de la lingotière, et l'on modifie la composition de la poudre dans le sens approprié jusqu'à ce que la qualité soit optimale, et en ce qu'ensuite on continue à enregistrer le spectre d'accélération de la lingotière que l'on compare avec celui considéré comme idéal, et en ce qu'on modifie dans le sens approprié, tout paramètre ayant une influence sur la qualité du lingot au moment où il se forme dans la lingotière. Application à la coulée continue de métaux.
