Abstract
Ligne de transmission à fibre optique et procédé de fabrication. La fibre optique selon la présente invention comprend une âme de silice fondue 10 et une couche de revêtement 11 de silice fondue, la couche de revêtement étant dopée avec du fluor pour abaisser son indice de réfraction. Application à la fabrication de fibres optiques dont l'indice de refraction varie radialement, la valeur la plus élevée se trouvant à la jonction entre la couche de revêtement et l'âme et la valeur la plus faible se trouvant au niveau de la surface extérieure de la couche de revêtement.
