Abstract

La présente invention concerne une machine pour remplir, étuver, fermer et sceller des poches flexibles, et qui comprend un mécanisme pour faire avancer les poches par intermittence à l'air ambiant à travers des stations de remplissage et d'étuvage, avec dans la station d'étuvage un moyen pour introduire de la vapeur dans chaque poche et diriger de la vapeur vers la poche pendant qu'elle reste dans la station, et un moyen est prévu pour maintenir les panneaux de la poche écartés pour qu'elle soit largement ouverte. Selon l'invention un moyen 13, 14 rapproche les panneaux Il de chaque poche 10 l'un de l'autre pour fermer la poche tandis qu'elle est dans la station d'étuvage 30, et avant qu'elle ne soit scellée; un moyen 53, 54 dans la station 30 scelle la partie supérieure de chaque poche après sa fermeture et avant qu'elle ne sorte de la station 30 pour empêcher l'introduction d'air. L'invention s'applique notamment à l'emballage des produits alimentaires.
