Abstract

Frein à disque à étrier coulissant Le frein à disque de la présente invention comporte un disque 20, un élément de réaction 1 assujetti au châssis du véhicule, et muni de parties destinées à recevoir la réaction situées sur les deux cotés respectifs du disque, des patins de frottement couplés à ces parties, de façon à pouvoir coulisser, et un étrier 2 enfourchant la circonférence extérieure du disque et destiné à déplacer les patins de frottement pour les faire entrer en contact de freinage avec le disque, cet étrier étant guidé au moyen d'une paire de manchons 8 de matériau elastique munis à l'une de leurs extrémités d'une petite ouverture et à l'autre extrémité d'une gaine de protection contre la poussière et pouvant se détendre et se contracter librement. Application à un dispositif de freinage à disque peu coûteux de fabrication simple, et d'excellente performance.
