Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un élément tendeur de ressort pour la roue directrice de véhicules à chenilles. Elle est caractérisée en ce qu'au moins l'armature de traction est entourée par un fourreau protecteur réalisé au moins en deux parties engagées télescopiquement l'une dans l'autre, une partie extérieure du fourreau étant reliée à la plaque d'appui tandis que l'autre partie intérieure est reliée à la plaque de pression, et en ce que les parties du fourreau protecteur sont reliées entre elles par des butées protectrices qui sont appliquées l'une contre l'autre lorsque le ressort hélicoïdal est complètement détendu. Elle se rapporte à des grues, des excavateurs, etc.
