Abstract

La présente invention est relative à la fermeture étanche de bouteilles en verre, avec des fermetures filetées roulées dessus. Le joint de fermeture présente une partie centrale plate 4 entourée par un bourrelet périphérique saillant 6 ayant une section triangulaire tronquée dont le centre de gravité G est situé plus près de la jupe 2 de la fermeture que le milieu de sa base, un espace vide étant ménagé entre cette jupe et ce bourrelet. Les angles d'inclinaison des faces du bourrelet s'étendant radialement respectivement vers l'intérieur et vers l'extérieur sont compris entre 15 et 70 degrés , 70 et 85 degrés ; le sommet de la section triangulaire du bourrelet est plat ou arrondi. Des pressions de conditionnement élevées et des couples faibles de débouchage peuvent être obtenus en utilisant une large gamme de compositions plastiques et un volume réduit de matière plastique.
