Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé pour recueillir l'iridium à partir d'une solution d'iridium contenant des impuretés sous la forme d'autres métaux du groupe du platine et/ou de métaux communs. Ce procédé comprend l'oxydation de l'iridium au degré d'oxydation Ir(IV) dans une solution acide en présence d'ions chlorure; - la séparation des chloro-complexes d'iridium formés en utilisant une résine échangeuse d'ions appropriée; - le lavage de la résine; - le traitement de l'iridium dans la résine avec une solution aqueuse d'anhydride sulfureux sensiblement exempte d'ions chlorure; et ensuite l'élution du complexe d'iridium formé pour l'enlever de la résine en utilisant un éluant approprié Application au recueil de l'iridium.
