Abstract

The water closet odour extractor for use during w.c. utilisation has one or several air suction conduits (S) emanating from the closet and with their inlets (S) sited at intervals on the interior (A) of the pan. Alternative inlet positions are on the seat (B) or independently between the seat and the pan top, and pref. each of the suction conduits is connected to an air suction pump (M). The pump is operated when the seat cover is raised and stopped when the cover is lowered.
