Abstract

The rectangular shaped package for liquid etc. is formed from a tube with the ends folded, with triangular flaps folded against the sides or base. The triangular flaps (7) has a circular central hole (11) for pouring out the contents, and the top of the container has a small hole (12) to permit entry of air. The two holes are covered by a tear-off strip (15) running across the top of the package and over the triangular flap to its end. A second sealing strip inside the carton seals the top flaps, and is joined face to face with the outer strip at the pouring and air holes.
