Abstract

The bag is sealed by bringing the two sides together along the centre line and sealing the two edges together. The edge is fitted with a strip (15) below the seal which extends over the whole length of the bag and has a tap which protrudes at each end. The end tabs protrude through end patches (17, 18) which are internally covered with adhesive to seal the inside of the bag from the tab slot. The bag is opened by tearing end tab.
