Abstract

The envelope is made from a single sheet of paper, which is formed by folding the two sides inwards and the lower flap (a) upwards. The flap (a) may be glued to the side flaps with suitable adhesive. The top flap used to seal the envelope has perforated lines across it and a semi circular top which is cut away. The envelope is opened without the aid of a cord by pulling away the semi-circular tab along the perforated lines. The part of the panel (a) not covered by adhesive from the closing flap can be used for a written message.
