Description

Stand der TechnikState of the art

The invention is based on packaging according to the type of the main claim. From DE-AS 14 86 395 a packaging container has already become known in which a reclosing device consisting of a lid and frame is inserted in the mouth of the bag. However, such reclosure devices are not gas-tight between the frame and the lid, so that the container cannot be used for packaging oxygen-sensitive goods such as coffee, milk powder, etc. It has therefore been proposed to cover the cover with a cover sheet which is releasably sealed onto the frame. However, this arrangement is very labor intensive and does not provide sufficient security for the required tightness. Furthermore, it is very difficult to reclose the frame. can be mechanically attached gas-tight in the mouth of the bag. The known pack, which is very convenient to handle in itself, therefore does not offer sufficient gas-tightness overall, as is required for packaging high-quality goods.

It is also known, for example from DE-OS 24 43 721, a packaging consisting of a gas-tight bag and an outer container with a reclosable device. With this packaging, however, the reclosure device is arranged outside the bag on the outer container and forms a closure together with the latter. With this arrangement of the reclosure device, the cover is subjected to shocks and pressures during transport of the packaging, so that it can be damaged. In addition, such an arrangement of the reclosure device does not offer a high level of dust-tightness of the packaging.

It is therefore desirable to have packaging which is certainly gas-tight, whose reclosing device is highly dust-tight and which is easy to handle.

Vorteile der ErfindungAdvantages of the invention

The packaging according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that it has a tightness with respect to gas and dust, such as that offered by tin cans, but that the energy requirement for their manufacture is significantly lower. Furthermore, when the bag is opened, there is no danger that the product will spill.

Also, no good adheres to the part of the bag that is removed, since it is not in contact with the contents.

The handling of the packaging according to the invention, in particular the opening of the bag for the first time, is made comfortable for the user in that a tear tape is arranged on the bag above the fastening line of the reclosing device. With this configuration of the packaging according to the invention, an auxiliary tool, such as a knife, is unnecessary for the first opening.

The measures listed in the subclaims allow advantageous developments and improvements to the packaging specified in the main claim.

Beschreibung der ErfindungDescription of the invention

The pack shown has the shape of a cuboid and essentially consists of a bag 21 which holds the goods, an outer container 22 surrounding the bag 21 and a reclosing device 23. The bag 21 is produced from a gas and moisture-tight packaging material in particular by folding and welding, e.g. B. from a multi-layer material such as paper / polyethylene, polyester / aluminum / polyethylene or the like., The polyethylene layer is inside and is heat-sealable.

The reclosure device 23 arranged in the bag 21 (FIGS. 2 and 3) consists of a lid 26 and a frame 27. The lid 26 and frame 27 are made in one piece by molding or thermoforming from a thermoplastic material, such as polyethylene, polypropylene. The cover 26 is connected with an edge to the frame 27 in a hinge-like manner (FIG. 3). On the edge opposite the connecting edge, the cover 26 has a protruding grip tab 30, to which a corresponding recess 31 is assigned in the frame 27. Furthermore, the cover 26 has stiffening ribs 32 on its underside. In the closed state, the cover 26 engages in the frame 27 and closes in a dust-tight manner (FIG. 2). The dimensionally stable frame 27 has an L-shaped cross section, the horizontal leg 28 of which with the Lid 26 cooperates as a closure and its vertical leg 29 is attached to the inside of the bag 21. The reclosing device 23 is arranged in the head region of the bag 21 so that the lid 26 and the horizontal leg 28 of the frame 27 rest against the head wall 33 of the bag 21, and that the vertical leg 29 of the frame 27 is approximately in the middle of its height all around a weld 34 is welded to the four side walls 35 of the bag 21.

Oberhalb der Schweißnaht 34 ist auf der Innenseite der Seitenwände 35 des Beutels 21 ein Aufreißband 37 ringsum angesiegelt, das mit einem Ende durch die Längsnaht 36 des Beutels 21 nach außen ragt (Fig. 13).Above the weld seam 34, a tear tape 37 is sealed all around on the inside of the side walls 35 of the bag 21, one end projecting outwards through the longitudinal seam 36 of the bag 21 (FIG. 13).

The outer container 22 surrounding the bag 21 is made of cardboard. It is connected to the bag 21 by adhesive dots 39 which are approximately at the level of the lower part of the vertical leg 29 of the frame 27. The adhesive dots 39 preferably consist of a hot glue. Perforation lines 40, which delimit a tear strip 41, are punched into the outer container 22 above the adhesive dots 39.

The package described is preferably produced as follows on a machine with multiple mandrels that pass through several processing stations:
  • First of all, the reclosing device 23 is placed on the end face of a shaping mandrel 50 such that the vertical legs 29 of the frame 27 encompass the shaping mandrel 50 (FIG. 4). At a second station, a sheet of packaging material is folded around the mandrel 50 to form a sleeve 51 and its longitudinal edges are welded to the longitudinal seam 36 of the bag (FIG. 5). The tear tape 37 has previously been welded onto the packaging material sheet such that one end projects beyond the packaging material sheet at one edge, so that this end protrudes from the longitudinal seam 36. Simultaneously with the welding of the longitudinal seam 36, the sleeve 51 is welded all around with the vertical legs 29 of the frame 27 (weld seam 34). Then the part of the sleeve 51 projecting beyond the reclosure device 23 is pulled flat, folded onto the reclosure device 23, whereby protruding triangular ears 52 are formed, and sealed by a transverse weld seam 53, so that this part forms the head wall 33 described above (FIG. 6) . The ears 52, which are initially in one plane with the head wall 33, are folded over onto the head wall 33 (FIG. 7).

A cardboard blank is folded around the thus shaped bag 21, which is still seated on the forming mandrel 50, and formed into a sleeve 54 (FIG. 8). In the transverse stripe, which comes to coincide with the vertical leg 29 of the frame 27, the adhesive spots 39 have been applied beforehand, which firmly connect the sleeve 54 to the bag 21. Subsequently, the top folding flaps 55 of the cardboard blank, which are also provided with adhesive, are folded over onto the top wall 33 of the bag 21 and glued together to form a top wall 58 (FIG. 9).

The empty packaging container thus formed is then pulled off the mandrel 50 and set up so that the closure of the container formed at one end temporarily forms the bottom (FIG. 10). The container is filled in this position. After the bag 21 has been filled, its open end is sealed and folded as the bottom wall 56 in a manner similar to that described above in the manufacture of the top wall 33. The bottom folding flaps 57 of the cardboard blank are folded over onto the bottom wall 56 of the bag 21 and glued together to form a bottom wall of the outer container 22. The package is then rotated so that its head with the head walls 33 and 58 and the reclosable device 23 is at the top (FIG. 12).

The pack produced in this way can be opened as follows:
  • First, the tear strip 41 of the outer container 22 delimited by the perforation lines 40 is removed by pulling and the top wall 58 of the outer container 22 is removed (FIG. 13), so that the top wall 33 of the bag 21 is exposed. Thereafter, the protruding end of the tear tape 37 is grasped and the head wall 33 of the bag 21 is separated from the side walls thereof by pulling on it. After removal of the top wall 33, the pack is prepared for repeated opening and closing. By gripping the grip tab of the cover 26, the cover 26 is pivoted up. After removing part of the packaged goods, the cover 26 is pressed back into the frame 27, where it has a dustproof seat. In this way, the package can be opened and closed repeatedly and conveniently stacked.

In addition, it is pointed out that the advantages described at the outset are also present in a package that does not have an outer container 22.
