Abstract

The duct consists of a cell of rectangular cross section made of concrete or gypsum plaster. The upper and lower ends of the duct have horiz. openings through which are placed struts which hold the duct in position against floor slabs. end frames on the duct are connected by a vert. tensioning bar and have Projecting support stirrups.
