Abstract

A plastic plug, for grape shot cartridges, comprises a grape shot basket and a shock-absorbing deformation section moulded onto it. The plug is of soft thermoplastics, esp. polyolefin(high pressure polyethylene, or polybutene), while one end of the deformation section is a wad or washer of higher rigidity, set into an annular groove inside the plug wall, so as to expose the internal space of the deformation section when a specific gas pressure level is reached.
