Abstract
Deformable enamelling composn. of low C content (0.008, pref. 0.003, esp. 0.001wt.%) which retains a high resistance to elongation (>110 MN/sq.m.) after drawing up to 20% consists of 0.02-0.15 (pref. 0.04-0.06)wt.% Al and >=0.006 (>=0.012)wt.% N, bal. Fe. Pref. C content of Fe alloy with 0.03-0.1 wt.% initial C and >=0.1wt.% Mn is reduced to 0.008 wt.%, 0.02-0.15% Al and >=0.006% N are added to alloy hot-rolled to medium thickness, coiling temp. is adjusted to =735 degrees C, pref. >580 degrees C; alloy is then cold-rolled to final thickness and annealed at 625-800 degrees C.
