Abstract

Nickel base alloy contg. (in wt. %) 13-18 Cr, 15-25 Co and at least two elements such as Mo Ta or Nb up to respectively 4,5, 2.5, with a total >3% which contains in addition, 0.25-5 W, 0.03-0.2 C, 0.005:0.05 B and 0.01-0.2 Zr and Al and Ti in proportion between 1 and 2 totalling 2.5-12 (atomic %) with Ti 5%, provided that atomic % sum Mo + W + Ta + Nb 4.8%. The alloy has high strength at high temp. and good resistance to corrosion by sulphides.
