A nickel alloy has the following percentage composition: .C.0.05-0.5 .Cr.3-10 .Co.0-20 .Al.2-8 .W.2-20 and/or .Mo.1-10 .Nb.>3-7 and/or .Ta.2-14 .B.0.001-0.1 .Zr.0-0.3 Ni (at least 40) the remainder Ta and twice Nb should be between 2 and 14.
