Claims (7)

1. Förfarande för skyddande av ett vattenhaltigt system, vilket är känsligt för mikrobien nedbrytning, 5 kännetecknat därav, att i systemet tillsätts en förening med formeln R"---R N
10 R'"\/ N ch2oh i vilken R och R' oberoende av varandra är väte eller me-15 tylgrupper och R" är väte, en halogenatom, som är F, Cl, Br eller I, eller en nitrogrupp; eller föreningens hydro-kloridsalt, varvid föreningen eller föreningens hydroklo-ridsalt tillsätts i en mängd, som räcker tili att förhin-dra tillväxten och fortplantning av ätminstone en mikroor-20 ganism i vattensystemet.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat därav, att vattensystemet är en vattenlös-ning, -emulsion eller -suspension.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, k ä n n e -25 tecknat därav, att föreningen är 3,5-dimetyl-l-hyd- roximetylpyrazol.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, kännetecknat därav, att föreningens hydrokloridsalt är 3,5-dimetyl-l-hydroximetylpyrazolhydroklorid. 30 5. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, k ä n n e - tecknat därav, vattensystemet är en vattenbaserad m&l.
