Claims (9)
1. Menetelmä polyolefiini-vinyylipolymeeri komposiitin valmistamiseksi, tunnettu siitä, että 5 a) 10-200 paino-osalla vinyylimonomeeria ja 0,01-4,0 paino-osalla, laskettuna vinyylimonomeerin 100 paino-osaa kohti, vapaa radikaali - initiaattoria, impregnoidaan 100 paino-osaa poly-olefiinipartLkkeleita siten, että näitä sekoitetaan hitaasti 10 kokonaan veden poissaollessa 20-100°C:n lämpötilassa säilyttäen polyolefiinin partikkelirakenne. b) valmistetaan tästä seoksesta impregnoinnin päätyttyä vesisuspensio lisäämällä 80-1000 paino-osaa vettä, laskettuna polyolefii- 15 nin + vinyylimonomeerin 100 paino-osaa kohti, sekä stabilointi ainetta, ja c) korottamalla sitten lämpötilaa vinyylimonomeerin polymeroimi-seksi. 20
2. Vaatimuksen 1 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että polyolefiini on polyeteenin tai eteenin kopolymeeri, jossa on yli 50 paino-% eteeniä ja jossa komonomeeri on esimerkiksi vinyyllasetaat-ti, jokin α-olefiini, akryyli- tai metakryylihappo tai -esteri, poly- 25 eeni tai vinyylikloridi.
3. Vaatimuksen 1 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että polyolefiini on polypropeeni tai propeenin kopolymeeri, jossa on yli 50 paino-% propeenia ja jossa komomeeri on esimerkiksi eteeni, jokin muu 30 α-olefiini tai jokin polaarinen tyydyttämätön monomeeri.
4. Vaatimuksen 1,2 tai 3 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että polyolefiinipartikkeleiden halkaisija on 0,5-10 mm.
5. Vaatimuksen 1-4 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, että '> vinyylimonomeeri on aromaattinen vinyylimonomeeri esim. styreeni tai 17 85496 substituoitu styreeni, esimerkiksi α-metyyli-styreeni ja metyylisty-reeni.
6. Jonkin vaatimuksen 1-5 mukainen menetelmä, tunnettu siitä, 5 että korkeintaan 50 paino-% aromaattisen vinyylimonomeerin määrästä voidaan korvata jollakin toisella monomeerillä, joka voi olla akrylo-tai metakrylonitriili, (^-Cy- alkyyliakrylaatti tai -metakrylaatti, akryyli- tai metakryyliamidi, vinyylihalidi, tai maleiinihappo-anhydridi. 10
7. Jonkin edellisen vaatimuksen 1-6 mukainen menetelmä, tunnet-t u siitä, että initiaattori on orgaaninen vapaa radikaali-initiaatto-ri, kuten esimerkiksi peroksidi tai atsoyhdiste, joka on esimerkiksi bentsoyyliperoksidi, lauroyyliperoksidi, t-butyyliperoksibentsoaatti, 15 dikumyyliperoksidi tai atsobisisobutyronitriili.
8. Jonkin edellisen vaatimuksen 1-7 mukainen menetelmä, tunnet - t u siitä, että vinyylimonomeeri polymeroidaan 50-140°C:n lämpötilassa.
9. Jonkin edellisen vaatimuksen 1-8 mukainen menetelmä, tunnet- t u siitä, että vinyylimonomeeri polymeroidaan polyolefiinipartikke-lissa minkä seurauksena vinyylipolymeeri on homogeenisesti dispergoi-tuneena 0,05-2,0 /im:n suuruisina pyöreinä helminä polyolefiinimatrii-sissa. ; : 25
