Description
1 78022
Ekstruusiomuovauksella valmistettu väliseinämonikerroslevy.-Mellanväggsflerskiktsskiva framställd genora extrusionsformning.
Väliseinämonikerroslevyt, joissa on PMMAtia olevan kahden yhdensuuntaisen, pääasiallisesti tasomaisen ulkokerroksen väliin sovitettu ainakin yksi välikerros ja joissa uiko- ja välikerrokset on yhdistetty väliseinillä yksikappaleisiksi, ovat tunnettuja ja kaupan saatavissa. Ne valmistetaan suulakepuristamalla poikkileikkaukseltaan vastaavan työkalun avulla samanaikaisesti muodostamalla uiko- ja välikerrokset sekä väliseinät. Onton nauhamaisen kappaleen puristussuulakkeesta ulostulon jälkeen ulkokerrokset jäähdytetään pehmenemislämpötilan alapuolelle niiden kulkiessa tyhjö-muovauskanavien läpi. Välikerrokset ja väliseinät jäävät pidemmäksi aikaa termoplastisiksi kuin ulkokerrokset. Koska näitä ei tueta, välikerrokset taipuvat vaakasuorassa suulakepuristuksessa riippumiksi väliseinien välillä. Tätä vaikutusta voidaan pienentää, kun välikerrokset tehdään hyvin ohuiksi, koska silloin on johdettava pois vähemmän lämpöä pehmenemislämpötilan alittamiseksi ja koska lisäksi suulakepuristetaan hyvin hitaasti. Väliseinämoniker-roslevyjä käsiteltäessä hyvin ohuet välikerrokset vahingoittuvat kuitenkin helposti, niin ettei tästä syystä saa alittaa vähimmäispaksuutta.
Sen vuoksi muodostui tehtävä väliseinämonikerroslevyjen riippuma-ongelman ja välikerrosten murtumisvaaran ratkaisemiseksi uudella muotoilulla. Tämä tapahtuu alussa selitettyä laatua olevissa väli-seinämonikerroslevyissä siten, että välikerros tai -kerrokset ovat termoplastista muovia, jolla on ulkokerrosten ainekseen nähden kohotettu nollaviskoositeetti sulassa tilassa ja/tai kohotettu sitkeys.
Keksinnön eräitä sovellutusmuotoja on esitetty poikkileikkauksina kuvioissa 1 ja 2. Kuviot 3 ja 4 esittävät leikkauksia puristussuulakkeesta keksinnön mukaisten väliseinämonikerroslevyjen valmistamiseksi.
Ainakin ulkokerrokset 1, 2 ovat PMMAria. Tällä tarkoitetaan muo-vausmassaa, joka perustuu polymetyylimetakrylaattiin tai sekapoly-meereihin, jotka sisältävät ainakin 88 paino-% metyylimetakry- 2 78022 laattia ja korkeintaan 12 paino-% komonomeereja, kuten muita metak-ryyliestereitä, akryyliestereitä, akryylinitriiliä, styreeniä ja sen tapaista. Muovausmassan muodonpitävyys lämmössä DIN 53463 mukaan, menetelmä 8, ei saa olla alle 75°C. Muovausmassa voi sisältää värjääviä, sameuttavia, iskusitkeäksi tekeviä ja muita tavallisia lisäaineita. Tavallisesti väliseinät 4 ovat kokonaan tai vallitsevasti samaa ainesta kuin ulkokerrokset 1, 2. Ne on sovitettu sopivimmin kohtisuorasti ulkokerroksiin nähden, mutta myöskin vino tai kaarimainen poikkileikkausmuoto on mahdollinen.
Väliseinämonikerroslevyssä voi olla yksi tai useampi välikerros 3. Välikerrokset voivat olla aallotetut, polveilevat tai porrastetut, mutta sopivimmin ne ovat laakeat ja yhdensuuntaiset ulkokerrosten kanssa. Seuraavat sovellutusmuodot, jotka tarkoittavat yhdellä välikerroksella 3 varustettua väliseinäkolmikerroslevyä, pätevät laadultaan myöskin levyille, joissa on kaksi välikerrosta tai useampia välikerroksia.
Muodostamalla välikerros muovista, jolla on suurempi sitkeys ulkokerrosten ainekseen nähden, välikerroksen murtumisvaara pienenee myöskin silloin, kun se on hyvin ohut. Sen paksuus voi olle esim. 0,03-0,5 mm. Välikerrokseksi soveltuvat termoplastiset suulakepu- ristettavat muovit, joiden iskusitkeys DIN 53453 mukaan on ainakin 2 10, sopivimmin 50 kJ/m tai enemmän.
Muoveilla, joilla ulkokerrosten ainekseen nähden on kohotettu nol-laviskoositeetti sulassa tilassa, on se vaikutus, että välikerroksella kohotetussa lämpötilassa tai liian aikaisena ajankohtana jäähdytysvaiheen aikana on riittävä muodonpitävyys. Tämän ansiosta välikerroksen myöskin suurilla paksuuksilla pienenee riippuman vaara. Välikerrosten riippuman muodostuminen on hidas virumisilmiö, jossa muovisulatteen rakenneviskoosisuus käytännöllisesti katsoen ei ole selvä. Syntyvän riippuman syvyys riippuu venymisviskoosi-teetista D,0 venymisnopeudella nolla. Tässä kohdassa on voimassa F.T.Troutonin (Proc. Roy. Soc. A77,326/1906/92) Newtonisille nesteille huomaama yhteys venymisviskoositeetin 7^,0 ja leikkausvis-koositeetin S,0 välillä: Q = 3*7 g q 3 78022 jolloin indeksi 0 viittaa leikkaus- ja venymisnopeuteen nolla. Leikkausviskoositeetti 7s voidaan mitata esim. kapillariviskoosi-metrillä erilaisilla leikkausnopeuksilla; vrt. G. Schreyer, Konstruieren mit Kunststoffen, nide 2 (Carl Hauser Verlag). Ekst-rapolaatio leikkausnopeuteen nolla antaa arvon ^S,Of josta edellä olevan yhtälön mukaan voidaan laskea keksinnölle ratkaiseva nolla-viskoositeetti Τϋ,ο*
Termoplastisia muoveja, joilla on erilainen nollaviskoositeetti, on kaupan. Korkean nollaviskoositeetin voi aiheuttaa muoviaineksen polymeerimolekyylien tietyt rakennetunnusmerkit tai ulkokerroksen ainekseen nähden kohotettu pehmenemislämpötila.
Erittäin edullista on, kun samanaikaisesti välikerroksen aineksen nollaviskoositeetti tai sitkeys on ulkokerrosten PMMA- aineksen vastaavien arvojen yläpuolella. Ryhmän polykarbonaatit, polysul-fonit ja termoplastiset polyesterit, muovit täyttävät nämä ominaisuudet. Niillä on myöskin riittävä yhteensopivaisuus PMMA:n kanssa, mikä takaa erilaisten työaineiden yksikappaleisen liitoksen. Erittäin sopiviksi ovat osoittautuneet polykarbonaatti- muovit ja näistä varsinkin bis-fenoli-A-polykarbonaatti. Sillä on Vicat-pehmenemislämpötila DIN 53460 (menetelmä 8) mukaan 145°C ja isku-sitkeys DIN 53453 mukaan on suurempi kuin 70 ka/m^, ts. standardi-piensauvat eivät murru iskukokeessa. Muita sopivia polykarbonaat-timuoveja on johdettu muista aromaattisista bis-fenoleista, kuten metyyli-bis-fenolista tai dihydroksidifenyylieetteristä. Myöskin fluoripitoiset polymeerit, kuten polyvinyylideenifluoridi, poly-klooritrifluorieteeni tai tetrafluorieteenin ja heksafluoripropee-nin sekapolymeraatit ovat sopivia.
Uudet väliseinämonikerroslevyt valmistetaan kaikkien kerrosten ja väliseinien yhteisellä suulakepuristuksella. Puristussuulakkeella on tarkoituksenmukaisesti kuvioissa 3 ja 4 esitetty rakenne. Massa-kanavan 5 kautta suulakepuristimesta (ei esitetty) painetaan sulatettua PMMA:ia jakokanavaan 6, josta se virtaa ulkokerrokset muodostaviin kanaviin 7 ja 8 sekä sydänkappaleiden 10 välisiin rakoihin 9, joilla muodostetaan väliseinät 4. Sydänkappaleet 10 on so- 78022 vitettu palkkiin 11, jossa jakokanava 12 kulkee. Siihen syötetään sulatettua muovia toisesta suulakepuristimesta välikerroksen 3 muodostamiseksi ja painetaan kanavien 13 kautta jokaiseen sydän-kappaleeseen 10. Kanavat 13 laajenevat viuhkamaisesti suulakkeen suuta kohti ja ottavat siellä sydänkappaleiden 10 täyden leveyden, niin että läpikulkevat muovausmassavirrat yhtyvät niiden kanssa raoissa 9. Verraten pienellä massan paineella kanavissa 13 muodostuu kuviota 1 vastaava poikkileikkaus, jossa ainesta kulkee väliseiniin. Korkeammalla paineella kanaviin 13 virtaa sieltä ulos-tulevaa muovausmassaa yhteen vierekkäisten sydänkappaleiden kanssa ja muodostuu kuviota 2 vastaava ontto kappale. Paineen edelleen noustessa kanavissa 13 voidaan muodostaa myöskin väliseinät 4 osittain tai kokonaan välikerroksen 3 muovista. Ontto nauhamainen kappale saa lopullisen poikkileikkausmuotonsa tyhjömuovauskanavas-sa, joka on sovitettu puristussuulakkeen taakse.
Väliseinäkolmikerroslevyjä, jotka koostuvat yksinomaan PMMArstä, voidaan suulakepuristaa ainoastaan pienellä nopeudella, mutta keksinnön mukaisia väliseinämonikerroslevyjä voidaan suulakepuristaa olennaisesti nopeammin ilman välikerroksen mainittavaa riippumaa.
Keksinnön mukaisia väliseinämonikerroslevyjä myytävissä suuruuksissa voidaan valmistaa nopeasti ja taloudellisesti. Niiden leveys on esimerkiksi 500-2000 mm, kokonaispaksuus 8-50 mm sekä väliseinien ja ulkokerrosten paksuus 0,5-2,5 mm. Suosituksi tulee pääasiallisesti suorakulmainen poikkileikkausgeometria, kuten kuvioissa 1 ja 2, jolloin vierekkäiset väliseinät 4 ja niiden väliin suljetut ulkokerrosten 1, 2 osat muodostavat likipitäen, neliön.
Väliseinämonikerroslevyillä on monipuolista käyttöä hyvänä lämpöä eristävänä lasitusmateriaalina asuin- ja teollisuusrakennuksissa, kasvihuoneissa, uimahalleissa jne.
Claims (2)
1. Ekstruusiomuovauksella valmistettu väliseinämonikerroslevy, joka koostuu kahdesta yhdensuuntaisesta, pääasiallisesti tasomaisesta ulkokerroksesta (1, 3), jotka ovat polymetyylimeta-krylaattia tai kopolymeereja, jotka sisältävät ainakin 88 paino-% metyylimetakrylaattia ja korkeintaan 12 paino-% komono-meeria, ja ainakin yhdestä niiden väliin sovitetusta muuta muovimateriaalia olevasta välikerroksesta (3) sekä väliseinistä (4), jotka yhdistävät uiko- ja välikerrokset yksikappaleiseksi, tunnettu siitä että välikerros tai -kerrokset (3) ovat termoplastista muovia, jolla ulkokerrosten ainekseen nähden on kohotettu sitkeys ja/tai kohotettu nollaviskositeetti sulassa tilassa (venymisviskosi-teetti leikkausnopeudella nolla).
2. Patenttivaatimuksen 1 mukainen valiseinämonikerroslevy, tunnettu siitä, että välikerroksen tai -kerrosten (3) termoplastinen muovi on valittu polykarbonaattien, polysulfonien ja termoplastisten polyesterien ryhmästä.
