Claims (13)

1. Sätt att framställa ferrokisel ur ett kiseldioxid innehällande utgängsmaterial, reduktionsmedel sarat ett järn- 5 innehällande material genom direkt reduktion av kiseldioxiden och samtidig reaktion mellan kisel och järn, kanne-t e c k n a t därav, att det pulverformiga kiseldioxid-haltiga materialet och järnrävaran, eventuellt tillsammans med ett reduktionsmedel, med hjälp av en bärgas injiceras i 10 ett av en plasmagenetaror genererad plasmagas, varefter den sälunda upphettade kiseldioxiden och järnrävaran tillsammans med det eventuella reduktionsmedlet och den energirika plas-magasen införes i ett reaktionsrum, som är i huvudsak all-sidigt omgivet av ett fast styckeformigt reduktionsmedel, 15 varigenom nämnda kiseldioxid bringas tili smältning och reduktion tili kisel, som förenar sig med järnet tili ferrokisel .

7. Sätt enligt patentkraven 1-6, känneteck-35 n a t därav, att det fasta styckeformiga reduktionsmedlet valts ur en grupp bestäende av bricketterad petroleumkoks, bricketterat träkolspulver och styckeformigt träkol.
