Claims (11)
1. Förfarande för att befrämja tillväxt av ett bio-logiskt material fran ett lämpligt näringsmedel, varvid i en behallare innehällande ett bärarmaterial för det biolo-giska materialet näringsmedlet bringas i kontakt med bärar-materialet och tränger in i detsamma, varvid bärarmaterialet bestar av ett flertal inne i behallaren fritt rörliga krop-par, kännetecknat därav, att varje kropp uppvisar en i huvudsak nätformig innerstruktur och begränsar i den-samma ett betydande porutrymme, astadkommande i kroppen en genomgäende skyddande omgivning vilken tilläter tillväxten av biologiskt material i kroppen och vilken uppbär och kvar-haller denna massa sasom en i huvudsak sammanhängande massa i nämnda porutrymme, varvid varje nämnda kropp har ett vidsträckt tillträdesomräde tili hela porutrymmet i kroppen genom ett flertal öppningar eller kaviteter i kroppens yttre yta, vilket därigenom tilläter varje nämnda kropp att vä-sentligen fyllas med aktivt biologiskt material over en be-stämd tidsperiod; och att nämnda kroppar halls i kontinuer-lig rörelse i behallaren under tillväxtprocessen i tillräck-ligt hög grad för att förhindra ansamling av biologiskt material pa ytterytan av varje kropp.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att de nämnda kropparna har sldan form att de inne i behallaren är fritt rörliga i för-hallande tili varandra utan att fastna i varandra, varvid ansamlingen av biologiskt material pa den yttra ytan av varje nämnda kropp sker genom att nämnda kroppar gnider eller stöter mot varandra.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 2, kännetecknat därav, att de nämnda kropparnas rörelse i behallaren astadkommes genom att lata det fluidum som innehäller näringsmedlet passera genom behallaren. 14 69293
4. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, k ä n n e - t e c k n a t därav, att kroppar avlägsnas kontinuer-ligt eller periodvis ur behällaren när de uppbär och är väsentligen fyllda med biologiskt material, varvid behällaren tillförs kroppar vilka är fria fran eller väsentligen fria fran biologiskt material, för att ersät-ta de avlägsnade kropparna.
5. Anordning för att befrämja tillväxten av biologiskt material fran ett lämpligt näringsmedel, vilken anordning omfattar en reaktionsbehällare, ett bärarma-terial för detsamma inne i behällaren och medel för att bringa näringsmedlet i kontakt med bärarmaterialet i behallaren och tränga in i detsamma , vilket bärarmate-rial bestar av ett flertal rörliga kroppar, kännetecknad därav, att varje kropp uppvi-sar en i huvudsak nätformig innerstruktur och begränsar inne i densamma ett betydande porutrymme, samt en bety-dande tillträdesoraräde genom ett flertal pä kroppens yt-teryta befintliga Öppningar eller kaviteter tili kroppens hela porutrymme ästadkommande i kroppen en genomgaende skyddande omgivning, vilken tillater tillväxten av biologiskt material och därigenom uppbär och kvarhäller det biologiska materialet säsom en i huvudsak sammanhängan-de massa i nämnda porutrymme, och att varje nämnda kropp rör sig inne i behällaren under tillväxtprocessen i tillräckligt hög grad för att förhindra yttre ansam-ling av biologiskt material pä den yttre ytan av varje kropp.
6. Anordning enligt patentkravet 5, kännetecknad därav, att varje nämnda kropp har en sadan form som tillater rörelse av kropparna i förhällan-de tili varandra med en gnid- och/eller stötverkan utan att sammanpacka sig tili en massiv enhet; och att de il.
