Claims (9)

1. Förfarande för kontinuerlig framställning av socker genom att hydrolysera lignocellulosa innehällande material medelst koncent-rerad saltsyra i en vägrätt roterande rörformig reaktor, kanne-tecknat av följande steg: a) syran inledes i reaktorn, varvid uppnäs att ett vätskebad bildas pa reaktorns botten, b) det lignocellulosa innehällande materialet inmatas i reaktorns inloppsända, c) reaktorn roteras för periodisk dränkning av materialet i syrabadet, d) samtidigt och kontinuerligt förflyttas materialet mot reaktorns avloppsända, och e) den vätskeformiga syran med de fasta resterna och sockren avlägsnas kontinuerligt genom reaktorns avloppsända med tillhjälp av med tyngdkraften ästadkommen överströmning.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att ätminstone en del av syran som använts vid hydrolysen och som avgär frän reaktorn ätercirkuleras för vidareanvändning i hydrolysprocessen.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att viktförhällandet mellan det fasta materialet som skall hydrolyseras och syran är 1:5 - 1:10.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att saltsyrans koncentration är under 37 vikt-%, varvid se-lektiv hydrolys av hemicellulosafraktionen i materialet uppnäs och varvid ur reaktorn avgär en lignocellulosafraktion, som har bevarat väsentligen samma fysikaliska form som det tili reaktorn inmatade lignocellulosamaterialet.
5. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att hydrolysen utförs i tvä efter varandra följande roterande rörformade reaktorer, varvid den frän den första reaktorn avgäen-de resten ledes tili den andra reaktorn för fortsatt hydrolys.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 5, kännetecknat därav, att i den första reaktorn saltsyran har en koncentration av 30 - 37 vikt-%, och frän denna avgär en heterogen blandning omfat-
