CONSISTE EN CONCENTRAR LA PASTA POR EVAPORACION DEL AGUA CONTENIDA EN LA MISMA HASTA UN 5% RESPECTO AL PESO DE LOS SOLIDOS; AÑADIR, ANTES O DESPUES DE CONCENTRAR DE 50 A 200%, REFERIDO AL PESO DE SULFATO SODICO, DE UN COMPUESTO DE UN METAL QUE FORMA UN SULFATO INESTABLE, PREFERENTEMENTE UN COMPUESTO DE HIERRO, Y DE 5 A 20% DE UN AGENTE REDUCTOR, PREFERENTEMENTE GRAFITO; CALENTAR A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 700JC Y 900JC HASTA QUE CESE EL DESPRENDIMIENTO DE ANHIDRIDO SULFUROSO; MEZCLAR CON 65 A 80% DE UNA MEZCLA FORMADORA DE VIDRIO A BASE DE SILICE, OXIDO BORICO, ALUMINA Y CAL; CALENTAR DE 1.050 A 1.200JC Y ENFRIAR A LA TEMPERATURA AMBIENTE.
