Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a heat accumulating material from which a latent heat can be constantly taken out at its melting point for a long period of time, by adding an insoluble phosphate or arsenate to ammonium sodium hydrogenphosphate tetrahydrate.
CONSTITUTION: Ammonium sodium hydrogenphosphate tetrahydrate is mixed with an insoluble phosphate and/or an insoluble arsenate as nucleating agent. The insoluble phosphate includes ammonium magnesium phosphate, calcium phosphate, ammonium lithium phosphate, lithium phosphate, beryllium phosphate, etc., and the insoluble arsenate includes aluminum arsenate, calcium arsenate, ammonium magnesium arsenate, etc. The preferred amounts of these nucleating agent to be added are 0.05wt% or more. The addition of 0.5wt% or more said agent does not result in the enhancement of corresponding effects.
