METODO Y APARATO PARA MEDIR EL NIVEL DE UN MATERIAL FLUYENTE CONTENIDO EN UN RECIPIENTE, MEDIANTE EL USO DE UNA SEÑAL DE MICROONDAS. EL METODO COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES OPERACIONES: PRIMERA, LA SEÑAL DE MICROONDAS ES ALIMENTADA DESDE UN TRANSMISOR A TRAVES DE UNA GUIA DE ONDAS TUBULAR QUE SE EXTIENDE VERTICALMENTE HACIA ABAJO A TRAVES DEL RECIPIENTE Y QUE COMUNICA CON EL, DE FORMA QUE LA SUPERFICIE DEL MATERIAL QUE LA CIRCUNDA; SEGUNDA, DICHA SEÑAL ES REFLEJADA DE NUEVO A TRAVES DE LA GUIA DE ONDAS.
