PROCEDIMIENTO PARA PRODUCIR ACERO AL CROMO CON BAJO CONTENIDO DE FOSFORO. CONSISTE EN: A) AÑADIR UNA FUENTE DE CARBONO SOLIDO AL HIERRO DE ARRABIO FUNDIDO QUE CONTIENE CROMO EN EL CONVERTIDOR EN UNA CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE PARA OBTENER HIERRO DE ARRABIO FUNDIDO CONTENIENDO CROMO CON UN CONTENIDO DE CARBONO DE 4,5% EN PESO AL FINAL; B) AGITAR EL CONTENIDO DEL CONVERTIDOR SOPLANDO EN SUPARTEINFERIOR UN GAS NO OXIDANTE; C) SOPLAR OXIGENO EN EL HIERRO DE ARRABIO PARA OBTENER UN HIERRO CONTENIENDO CROMO A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 1.500 Y 1.700JC; D) RETIRAR DEL CONVERTIDOR LA ESCORIA FORMADA EN LAS ETAPAS ANTERIORES; E) AÑADIR UN FUNDENTE DE DESFOSFORACION AL HIERRO DE ARRABIO FUNDIDO; F) AGITAR EL CONTENIDO DEL CONVERTIDOR MANTENIENDO LA CONCENTRACION DE OXIDOS DE HIERRO EN LA ESCORIA AL 1,0% EN PESO; G) RETIRAR LA ESCORIA DEL CONVERTIDOR; Y H) SOPLAR OXIGENO EN EL HIERRO DE ARRABIO FUNDIDO CONTENIDO EN EL CONVERTIDOR PARA SU DESCARBURACION.
