PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DE 5-CIANO-(3,4''-BIRIPIDIN)-6-(1H)-ONA EN FORMA DE BASE LIBRE O COMO UNA SAL CATIONICA DE LA MISMA. SE HACE REACIONAR 4-PICILINA CON, AL MENOS, TRES EQUIVALENTES MOLARES DE UN HALOGENURO DE ACIDO INORGANICO Y CON UN EXCESO DE DIMETIL FORMAMIDA. SE INCORPORA A LA MEZCLA AGUA Y SE AJUSTA EL PH A UN VALOR DE 8, CON LO QUE PRECIPITA LA SAL CATIONICA N-(O-DIMETILAMINO-2-(4-PIRIDINIL)-I-PORPENILIDENO)-N-METILMETANIMI-NIO, QUE SE TRATA CON UN EXCESO DE ALFA-CIANOACETAMIDA Y CON, EL MENOS, TRES EQUIVALETES MOLARES DE UNA BASE PARA OBTENER EL COMPUESTO DESEADO. EN TODO EL PROCESO, LA TEMPERATURA SE MANTIENE POR DEBAJO DE LOS 30 C. DE APLICACION COMO COMPUESTO INTERMEDIO EN LA PREPARACION DE 3-AMINO-5-(4-PIRIDINIL)-2-1H)-PIRIDINONA.
