EL DISOLVENTE Y LAS IMPUREZAS SE RECOGEN COMO DESTILADO. SE OBTIENE EL ALCOHOL PURIFICADO COMO RESIDUO REMANENTE. ALTERNATIVAMENTE SE SOMETE AL ALCOHOL EN BRUTO A DESTILACION EXTRACTIVA A PRESION REDUCIDA, EN PRESENCIA DE UN DISOLVENTE DE PUNTO DE EBULLICION SUPERIOR AL DEL ALCOHOL, TAL COMO GLICERINA, ALQUILENGLICOL, POLIALQUILENGLICOL Y OTROS.
