Abstract

SOBRE UN SOPORTE DE MATERIAL CONDUCTOR COMO COBALTO, CROMO, O HIERRO SE APLICA UN BAÑO DE UNA SOLUCION DE UN COMPUESTO TERMODESCOMPONIBLE, COMO UN NITRATO, SULFATO O FOSFATO, CON UNA SAL SOLUBLE DE METAL ALCALINO COMO CLORURO SODICO. SE CALIENTA ESTA SOLUCION, BAJO UNA ATMOSFERA OXIDANTE, A UNA TEMPRATURA ENTRE 100 Y 300 GC, PROVOCANDOSE LA DESCOMPOSICION DE DICHO COMPUESTO Y LA CRISTALIZACION DE UN OXIDO METALICO COMO LA HEMATITA EN LA ZONA ACTIVA DEL CATODO. ESTOS CATODOS SON DE APLICACION EN CELDAS DE DIAGRAMA PERMANENTE Y CELDAS DE MEMBRANA DE PERMEABILIDAD SELECTIVA.
