Abstract

Procedimiento mejorado para la preparación selectiva de 5- nitrato de isosorbida, caracterizado porque se hace reaccionar isomanida en un disolvente orgánico o en un medio de reacción acuoso-orgánico, con la cantidad equivalente de un halogenuro de ácido sulfónico aromático de la fórmula general I **(Fórmula)** en que A es un anillo bencénico o naftalénico, R es alcohilo inferior con 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, alcoxi inferior con 1 a 4 átomos de carbono o halógeno, y n es un número entero de 0 a 3, o de un halogenuro ácido de un ácido perfluoroalcansulfónico inferior con 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, de un ácido alcansulfónico inferior con 1 a 4 átomos de carbono o de un ácido perfluoroalcancarboxílico inferior con 1 a 4 átomos de carbono, de un ácido carbámico o de ácido sulfuroso.
