Abstract

Mejoras en máquinas para limpiar verduras y frutas, comprendiendo una cuba, en general de forma cilíndrica, cuyo extremo inferior está cerrado por una placa circular rotativa que comprende en su centro, una prominencia, que permita su unión con un árbol motor da arrastre, mientras que están dispuestas aberturas sensiblemente de modo radial y que desemboquen en escotaduras dispuestas en el contorno de la placa, estando rebordeada cada una de las antedichas aberturas en su lado trasero, respecto al sentido de rotación de la placa por una hoja de cuchilla con borde enfilado, de manera que se obtenga un recortado de las mondaduras de las frutas y verduras por el efecto de un corte deslizante, presentando además la parte superior de la placa, por lo menos dos prominencias en sobre-espesor, diametralmente opuestas y sensiblemente en forma de triedro, caracterizadas porque la parte superior de cada una de las prominencias comprende, por lo menos una abertura prolongada por una escotadura ensanchada en su parte exterior, estado rebordeada la abertura por una hoja de cuchilla, de modo que así las verduras, que deben mondarse se revuelvan en la cuba por estas prominencias, durante el tiempo de la limpieza.
