Abstract

1,081,280. Food cutting machines. HALLDE MASKINER A.B. July 20, 1966, No. 32691/66. Heading A4C. A food cutting machine, particularly for shredding white cabbage, comprises a rotary cutter 12 mounted on a vertical shaft driven by a motor in casing 10 and a plurality of radially directed stationary knives 27 past which the foodstuff is forced by a plunger disc 15 having slots to allow it to pass over the stationary knives. The arm 20 carrying the plunger is pivoted at 21 to allow the assembly to be swung sideways for feeding the foodstuff. A reamer-type cutter 29 may be mounted on the rotating shaft, insets in knives 27 and a recess 18 in the plunger assembly being provided to accommodate it. The assembly is hingedly mounted on the motor casing 10 at 33.
