Abstract

Procedimiento para la preparación de 1,2-dicloroetano por oxicloración de etileno con cloruro de hidrogeno y un gas que contiene oxígeno molecular, preferiblemente aire, en fase gaseosa a temperatura elevada, en presencia de un catalizador que consiste en cloruro de cobre divalente sobre un soporte, en lecho fluidificado, en el que se enfría los gases de reacción bajo presión en dos etapas de condensación, se retiren el 1,2-dicloroetano y el agua separados por condensación, mientras que los agentes de partida no reaccionados y los gases inertes son conducidos predominantes en circuito cerrado, de manera tal que los gases de reacción de la 2ª etapa de reacción se enfrían en una 3ª etapa de condensación bajo presión a una temperatura situada entre 5 y 18ºC sólo hasta tanto que queda 0,5 a 3% en volumen, preferiblemente 0,5 a 1,5% en volumen de 1,2-dicloroetano en el gas de circuito cerrado, y se repone el oxígeno consumido mediante introducción de oxígeno puro directamente en el gas en circuito cerrado delante del reactor.
