Abstract
Procedimiento para la fabricación de pigmentos de bióxidos de titanio, según el proceso sulfúrico de ataques de minerales titaníferos que comprende una reducción electrolítica de las soluciones titaníferas en un electrolizador con diafragma y una separación del sulfato ferroso heptahidrato a partir de las soluciones reducidas, caracterizado porque sulfato ferroso procedente de las soluciones titaníferas reducidas en una etapa anterior, se recicla en forma de solución en el compartimiento anódico de una celda de electrólisis en la que se introduce, al mismo tiempo por el compartimiento catódico una solución titanífera-sulfúrica que es así reducida con un mínimo de energía eléctrica, siendo sometida esta solución titanífera procedente de la celda, a continuación, directamente a las operaciones clásicas conocidas del procedimiento sulfúrico.
