Abstract

Se proporciona un método para el tratamiento de lo coadyuvantes de filtración de tierra de diatomeas con un contenido en hierro soluble en cerveza inferior al 0.01% aproximadamente para reducir el contenido de hierro soluble en cerveza mediante el mantenimiento de los coadyuvantes de filtración en contacto con el volumen relativamente pequeño de un ácido. En los coadyuvantes de filtración así producidos, el contenido en hierro soluble en cerveza puede ser reducido hasta un 70 a 100% . En la preparación de los coadyuvantes de filtración de esta invención, puede utilizarse para tratar los coadyuvantes de partida ácido sulfúrico en solución aproximadamente 0,1 a 3,0 N.
