Abstract
Procedimiento de obtención de una solución acuosa de complejo sulfítico de oro monovalente y de amonio, estable a valores pH ligeramente ácidos e incluso en ausencia de aminas estabilizadoras, no liberando durante su electrolisis, con vistas a obtener depósitos de oro, prácticamente ningún producto perjudicial para la calidad de éstos; y conteniendo oro fulminante, es decir el sólido resultante de la precipitación de sales de oro trivalente por amoniaco, disuelto en al menos 3,5 equivalentes de sulfito de amonio, en solución acuosa, de modo que la concentración en oro metal en la solución está comprendida entre 10 y 200 gramos por litro; caracterizado porque se ha de reaccionar una solución concentrada de ácido auriclorhídrico (HauCl4) con amoniaco, lo que provoca la formación de un precipitado de un compuesto de oro; se decanta la solución y se lava con agua el precipitado, por decantación, hasta la desaparición de casi la totalidad de los cloruros; y después se añade al precipitado una cantidad de solución de sulfito de amonio suficiente para disolver éste y asegurar la reducción del oro trivalente a oto monovalente.
