Abstract

Método para preparar un rodillo de tracción resistente a la abrasión, que comprende un cubo metálico cuya circunferencia exterior está cubierta por una rueda de composición de poliuretano extendido, de alta tracción resistente a la abrasión, caracterizado por (1) mezclar (A) 100 partes de un prepolímero que tiene un peso equivalente de isocianato de 1.350 a 1.600, y consistente esencialmente en: (i) 100 partes de una mezcla consistente esencialmente en 60 por ciento en peso a 85 por ciento en peso de polioxitetrametilendiol y de 15 por ciento en peso a 40 por ciento en peso de polioxiisopropilendiol, y (ii) de 14 partes a 17 partes de tolilendiisocianato, añadido en atmósfera inerte, y (B) 8,0 a 10,0 partes de metilen-bis (0-cloroanilina) que actúa como extendedor de cadena, para formar una composición de poliuretano extendido fluido reactivo, (2) insertar un cubo de rueda metálico en un molde de rueda, (3) verter la composición de poliuretano extendido alrededor de la circunferencia del cubo metálico en el mode, y (4) calentar el cubo y la composición de poliuretano reactivo durante 1 hora a 3 horas, a 80ºC - 100ºC, en el molde, para formar un cubo con una cubierta maciza de poliuretano curado alrededor de su circunferencia.
