Abstract
Procedimiento para la obtención de xilano y materias fibrosas de materias primas vegetales que contengan xilano, que se desintegran por medio de un tratamiento de presión de vapor y desfibración, caracterizado porque el tratamiento de presión de vapor se lleva a cabo con vapor saturado a temperaturas de 160 hasta 230ºC durante 2 minutos hasta 4 horas, las materias primas vegetales así desintegradas se lixivian con una solución acuosa, de la solución se separan xilanos y fracciones de xilano y fracciones de xilano en forma depurada principalmente de monosacáridos y en su caso de otras impurezas, porque, si se desea, los xilanos y fracciones de xilano, en su caso en forma de la solución obtenida, se hidrolizan sin aislamiento especial en xilosa y, si se desea, la xilosa, en su caso en forma de la solución obtenida, se reduce sin aislamiento especial de manera conocida a xilita.
