Abstract
Bujía de incandescencia para motores diesel de vehículo automóviles, que comprende un cuerpo metálico hueco, un alimentador de corriente y una funda metálica tubular cerrada por la punta, en la cual se encuentra dispuesta, sumergida en un material aislante, una espiral eléctrica conectada por un extremo al alimentador de corriente y por el otro a la punta de la funda, caracterizada porque el filamento (8) de la espiral (7) por un tramo inicial (L1) de la espiral, a partir del punto de conexión con el alimentador de corriente (4), esté revestido por material (9) eléctricamente conductor, cuya resistencia eléctrica presenta un coeficiente de temperatura positivo muy elevado respecto al del material del que esté formado el filamento, de manera que el tramo terminal (L2) de la espiral hace de elemento de recalentamiento rápido de la funda al comienzo de la alimentación, mientras que el tramo inicial (L1) hace de elemento resistente ó de control de la corriente de alimentación como consecuenciadel aumento de la temperatura de la funda y porque, a igualdad de las demás, condiciones, las dimensiones del revestimiento (9) varían en relación a las caracteristicas eléctricas y térmicas deseadas de la bujía.
