Abstract

Un método de visualización de un video basándose en una señal de video por medio de un proyector, comprendiendo dicho proyector: - una rueda de colores que comprende una pluralidad de segmentos de colores adaptados para generar una secuencia de colores que tienen una frecuencia de cambio de color; - un dispositivo de visualización de imágenes adaptado para visualizar dicho video por medio de una representación de color secuencial que tiene la frecuencia de cambio de color; y, - una lámpara de descarga de gas a alta presión, dicho método que comprende la etapa de: suministrar a la lámpara con una corriente alterna pulsatoria de onda cuadrada (I0, I10) que tiene un ciclo (T0, T10) y compuesto de una corriente alterna de onda cuadrada (IR) superpuesta con una corriente pulsatoria (IP), comprendiendo la corriente pulsatoria (IP) primeros impulsos de corriente (P1, P3, P10, P40), cada uno de los que finaliza después de un medio ciclo antes de una inversión de fase de dicha corriente alterna pulsatoria de onda cuadrada (I0, I10), caracterizado por que el método comprende adicionalmente las etapas de: aumentar la frecuencia de cambio de color de la secuencia de colores y de la representación de color secuencial, mientras retiene la frecuencia de la corriente alterna pulsatoria de onda cuadrada (I0, I10), y en superposición en cada medio ciclo de dicha corriente alterna de onda cuadrada (I0, I10) al menos un segundo impulso de corriente (P2, P4, P20, P30, P50, P60) de la misma polaridad que el primer impulso de corriente (P1, P3, P10, P40) dentro de dicho medio ciclo (I0, I10) para compensar desplazamientos de color que resultan a partir de un movimiento del primer impulso de luz en segmentos individuales de colores de la rueda de colores, provocados por la mayor frecuencia de cambio de color.
