Abstract

Collarín o abrazadera de aprieto que lleva una banda, especialmente de metal, provista hacia un extremo de perfilados, y que lleva hacia su otro extremo, un soporte en forma de caja, en la que pivota un tornillo, cuyos filetes engranan con los perfilados de la banda para asegurar el aprieto de la abrazadera, caracterizada porque esta caja, que forma el soporte del tornillo, cuya base o el fondo que sirve de apoyo a la banda de la abrazadera es de una forma conocida rectilínea, para mantener en principio todos los filetes del tornillo engranados con los perfilados de la banda, está dispuesta respecto a la abrazadera de tal modo, que el primer filete activo del tornillo se encuentra sensiblemente sobre un plano diametral de la abrazadera, extendiéndose el tornillo tangencialmente a la circunferencia formada por la abrazadera, y en principio perpendicularmente a este plano diametral.
