Abstract

La producción de oxo-alcoholes superiores 5-24C olefinas isoméricas consiste en una reacción de hidroformilación de dos etapas en presencia de un catalizador de cobalto o rodio. La producción de oxo-alcoholes superiores de 5-24C olefinas isoméricas consiste en una reacción de hidroformilación de dos etapas en presencia de un catalizador de cobalto o rodio. Se reivindica un procedimiento para la producción de oxo-alcoholes superiores a partir de mezclas de 5-24C olefinas por una reacción de hidroformilación de dos etapas en presencia de un catalizador de cobalto o rodio a temperatura elevada y presión elevada. La mezcla de reacción de la primera etapa de hidroformilación se hidrogena selectivamente y la mezcla hidrogenada es separada por destilación en un alcohol crudo y un material con punto de ebullición bajo, que comprende predominantemente olefinas, que pasa a la segunda etapa de hidroformilación. La mezcla de reacción de la segunda etapa de hidroformilación se hidrogenada de nuevo y lamezcla se separa por destilación en alcohol crudo y un material con punto de ebullición bajo. El alcohol crudo se destila para obtener un alcohol puro y al menos una parte del material con punto de ebullición bajo se retira como hidrocarburo saturado.
