Abstract
Procedimiento para la descarbonatación de flujos gaseosos, preferentemente del aire, contaminados con CO2, caracterizado porque se pone en contacto, en una zona de absorción, el flujo gaseoso, a ser purificado, con al menos un absorbente constituido, esencialmente, por una zeolita de tipo NaLSX con una relación Si/Al de 1 hasta 1,5, intercambiada con sodio a un grado igual o mayor que el 98%, expresándose el grado de intercambio como la relación entre el número de iones sodio y el número de átomos de aluminio en posición tetraédrica, estando ocupado el resto de la capacidad de intercambio por iones potasio, aglomerada con un aglutinante, siendo el grado de aglutinante residual inerte del absorbente menor o igual que el 20% en peso.
