Abstract
Procedimiento para la eliminación de impurezas minerales, especialmente de silicatos, a partir de mezclas de minerales mediante flotación, en el que por combinación de la mezcla de minerales molida con agua para dar una suspensión, se hace pasar aire a través de la suspensión en presencia de un agente auxiliar de la flotación y la espuma formada se separa junto con las impurezas flotadas, contenidas en la misma, con la condición de que se utilicen compuestos de éster cuaternizados (esterquats) de la fórmula general (I) R5 O- (CH2CH2O)m OCR1 [R3-N+-CH2CHCH2O- (CH2C2O)nR2] X- (I) R4 en la que R1CO significa un resto acilo con 6 hasta 24 átomos de carbono, R2 significa R1CO, R3, R4 y R5, independientemente entre sí, significan restos alquilo con 1 hasta 4 átomos de carbono, m y n significan en suma 0 o números desde 1 hasta 12 y X significa halogenuro, alquilsulfato o alquilfosfato, individualmente o en mezcla, en caso dado junto con otras substancias aniónicas, catiónicas, anfóteras y/o no iónicas, a modo de componentes colectores.
