Abstract

Neumático, que comprende, al menos, una armadura de carcasa radial (2), formada por, al menos, una tela de elementos de refuerzo inextensibles (2) y anclada en cada talón B a una varilla (1) para formar un doblez (20), estando reforzado cada talón B por una armadura adicional de refuerzo (6) formada por elementos metálicos, estando reforzada, al menos, axialmente al interior, la parte no doblada de la armadura de carcasa (2), en la región del talón situada a una y otra parte del punto de inflexión en la que el trazado de su perfil meridiano cambia de curvatura para hacerse rectilíneo o cóncavo, por una armadura adicional de refuerzo (6A) de, al menos, una tela (6A) formada por elementos de refuerzo metálicos, cuyo extremo radialmente inferior está radialmente por debajo de la recta D'', paralela al eje de rotación y que pasa por el punto de la capa de recubrimiento (10) de la varilla de anclaje (1), radialmente más alejado del eje de rotación, pero por encima de la recta D, paralela al eje de rotación y que pasa por el punto de la capa de recubrimiento (10) de la varilla (1) radialmente más próximo al eje de rotación, y cuyo extremo radialmente superior está situado a una distancia radial de la recta D, comprendida entre una magnitud igual a la semidistancia radial entre las rectas D y D" aumentada en la semidistancia radial entre las rectas D y D'' y una magnitud igual a la semidistancia radial entre las rectas D y D" disminuida en la semidistancia radial entre las rectas D y D'', siendo la recta D" la recta de mayor anchura axial, caracterizado porque los elementos de refuerzo de la armadura adicional son tramos, o conjuntos de tramos, de cables circunferenciales de longitud circunferencial comprendida entre 0,2 y 0,4 veces la longitud circunferencial de la armadura de refuerzo (6A), medida durante la colocación de la citada tela.
