Abstract
Procedimiento para el reconocimiento de anomalías en los motores y en el sistema de post-tratamiento de los gases de escape dotado de un convertidor catalítico mediante la medición de los componentes contaminantes que se encuentran en los gases de escape producidos por el vehículo, caracterizado porque mediante un analizador de gases se reconoce la concentración de componentes gaseosos, hidrocarburos (HC), monóxido de carbono y monóxido de nitrógeno (NO) producidos durante la fase de arranque en frío, así como - la concentración máxima de componentes medidos - la duración de la fase de arranque en frío - la posición en el tiempo de la emisión máxima después del arranque se consideran como parámetros característicos para la evaluación del estado del vehículo, en el cual cada vehículo es sometido a un arranque en frío varias veces durante el control de calidad en la planta de fabricación o en el taller especializado y todos los datos de los parámetros característicos que se recogen durante laprueba en la cual todos los componentes relacionados con el sistema de escape se encuentran en perfectas condiciones de funcionamiento y que se representan como media estadística, son almacenados por el propio sistema de a bordo de medición, control y regulación del propio vehículo y los parámetros característicos registrados durante cada nueva fase de arranque en frío se comparan con los parámetros almacenados, en el cual una importante superación inadmisible de los valores límites dispara un mensaje de alarma.
