Abstract

SE EXPONE UN CLARIFICADOR PARA USO EN EL TRATAMIENTO DE UN LIQUIDO, QUE CONTIENE PARTICULAS INSOLUBLES EN SUSPENSION, PARA SEPARAR ESTAS PARTICULAS DEL LIQUIDO. COMPRENDE UN TANQUE, UN CONDUCTO DE SUMINISTRO DE LIQUIDO ABIERTO HACIA LA PARTE INFERIOR DEL TANQUE, Y UN INYECTOR PARA INYECTAR UN GAS A PRESION EN POR LO MENOS PARTE DEL LIQUIDO SUMINISTRADO AL CONDUCTO DE SUMINISTRO, PARA SATURAR ESTE LIQUIDO CON DICHO GAS Y GENERAR ASI BURBUJAS DE GAS, MIENTRAS EL LIQUIDO SATURADO ESTA SUJETO A DESCOMPRESION EN EL INTERIOR DEL TANQUE. LAS BURBUJAS DE GAS QUE SE GENERAN DE ESTA FORMA, SE ADHIEREN A LAS PARTICULAS EN SUSPENSION EN EL LIQUIDO Y LAS SUBEN PARA FORMAR UNA CAPA DE LODOS EN FLOTACION EN LA PARTE SUPERIOR DEL TANQUE. SE DISPONE UN RASCADOR EN LA PARTE SUPERIOR DEL TANQUE, PARA SEPARAR LA CAPA DE LODOS MIENTRAS SE FORMA. UNA PLURALIDAD DE PLACAS SE EXTIENDEN CON UN ANGULO DENTRO DEL TANQUE SOBRE EL CONDUCTO DE SUMINISTRO. ESTAS PLACAS DEFINEN UN CONJUNTO DE CANALES INCLINADOS HACIA ARRIBA, TENIENDO CADA UNO UN EXTREMO SUPERIOR QUE ESTA ABIERTO Y A TRAVES DEL CUAL EL LIQUIDO INTRODUCIDO EN EL TANQUE PUEDE ENTRAR EN EL CANAL. UNA SALIDA DE LIQUIDO MONTADA EN EL INTERIOR DEL EXTREMO INFERIOR DE CADA CANAL, PARA RECOGER Y SACAR DEL TANQUE EL LIQUIDO QUE SE HA TRATADO DENTRO DEL MISMO. GRACIAS A SU FORMA Y ESTRUCTURA, ESTE CLARIFICADOR OCUPA UN AREA SUPERFICIAL MAS REDUCIDA SOBRE EL SUELO, DEL 50 % O MENOS QUE CUALQUIER CLARIFICADOR DE LA MISMA CAPACIDAD. SU ESTRUCTURA PERMITE TAMBIEN MANTENER MUCHAS MAS MICROBURBUJAS DE TAMAÑO REQUERIDO PARA UNA MISMA CANTIDAD DE AIRE INYECTADO, PARA INCREMENTAR LA PROBABILIDAD DE CONTACTO ENTRE LAS PARTICULAS Y LAS BURBUJAS DE AIRE.
