Abstract

Se describe un clarificador para utilizarse en el tratamiento de líquido que contiene partículas insolubles en suspension con el fin de separar esas partículas de líquido. Incluyendo un tanque,, un conducto de suministro de líquido abierto en la porcion del fondo del tanque y un inyector para inyectar un gas presurizado en al menos una parte del líquido suministrado al conducto de suministro, con el fin de saturar este líquido con dicho gas y así generar burbujas de suministro, con el fin de saturar esta sujeto a una despresurizacion dentro del tanque. Las burbujas del gas que son así producidas se adhieren a las partículas en suspension en el líquido y las elevan para formar una capa de lodo flotante en la posicion superior del tanque. Un arrastrador esta provisto en la porcion superior del tanque para desnatar la capa de lodo mientras que se forma. Una pluralidad de placas que extienden en un ángulo en el interior del tanque sobre el conducto de suministro. Estas placas definen un conjunto de canales inclinados hacia arriba teniendo cada uno un extremo superior que esta abierto y a través del cual el líquido que es suministrado en el tanque puede entrar al canal. Una salida de líquido montada en el extremo inferior de cada canal para colectar y remover el tanque el líquido que ha sido tratado en el mismo. Gracias a su forma y estructura este clasificador ocupa un área de superficie en el suelo que es mas pequeña de 50% o menos que cualquiera de los clarificadores conocidos de la misma capacidad. Su estructura también permite mantener mucho mas microburbujas de tamaño requerido para la misma cantidad de aire inyectado con el fin de aumentar la probabilidad de poner en contacto las partículas y las burbujas de aire.
