METODO Y APARATO PARA LA FUSION DE SUSPENSIONES. LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN METODO Y UN APARATO PARA LA FUSION DE SUSPENSIONES DE MATERIAS PRIMAS SULFIDICAS FINAMENTE DIVIDIDAS QUE CONTIENEN METALES, TALES COMO COBRE, NIQUEL Y PLOMO, USANDO ENRIQUECIMIENTO DE OXIGENO. EN ESTE METODO SE ALIMENTA DENTRO DEL HORNO DE FUSION DE SUSPENSIONES (1) LA MATERIA PRIMA (4, 5) A FUNDIR. JUNTO CON FUNDENTE (6) Y GAS OXIDANTE (7) Y LAS PAREDES (18) DEL ESPACIO DE REACCION DEL HORNO DE FUSION DE SUSPENSIONES ESTAN ENFRIADAS Y SE CREA POR LO MENOS DOS FASES FUNDIDAS (16, 17). DE ACUERDO CON LA INVENCION, EL GRADO DE ENRIQUECIMIENTO DE OXIGENO DEL GAS OXIDANTE ES POR LO MENOS EL 40% CON EL FIN DE ELEVAR LA TEMPERATURA DE LAS PARTICULAS EN SUSPENSION POR LO MENOS 200øC POR ENCIMA DE LA TEMPERATURA DE LA FASE GASEOSA DE LA SUSPENSION, CON VISTAS A MEJORAR LA CINETICA DE LAS REACCIONES QUE TIENEN LUGAR EN EL ESPACIO DE REACCION, Y SE AJUSTA EL ESPESOR DEL REVESTIMIENTO DE LA PARED DEL ESPACIO DE REACCION, DEACUERDO CON LA CANTIDAD DE PRODUCCION DEL HORNO DE FUSION DE SUSPENSIONES, POR MEDIO DE ELEMENTOS DE ENFRIAMIENTO (20) FABRICADOS POR COLADA MEDIANTE EXTRACCION E INSTALADOS EN LA PARED DEL ESPACIO DE REACCION.
